Our Story

As you may be aware, the name Hoggtowne was used to refer to Gainesville prior to the 1860s. The staff of Hoggtowne Music has worked in the area for the last 60 years. We wanted the name to reflect our long-standing connection to the community. So, Hoggtowne Music was born.

The Store

We wanted a location that would be easy to find. What better place than at the headwaters of the Hogtown Creek located in Northwest Gainesville.

The Store is customer friendly with easy front-door parking and road access to NW 53rd Avenue as well as Highway 441.

With large windows and private lesson studios, Hoggtowne Music is a great place to shop and learn.
