The saxophone "stack" key group is one of the most difficult mechanisms on all woodwind instruments. The design of the Suzuki left hand stack key is balanced in design and easily manipulated by the left hand fifth finger. They work smoothly and effortlessly because of equalized spring resistance and no excessive spacing between key and roller. The octave key has double cork bumpers and no lateral rod to post movement. High F# key is positioned for comfort and reachable by any sized right hand.

Found on only the most expensive professional imported saxophones, all Suzuki saxophones have expertly hand engraved logos. The engraved logo on the saxophone bell is beautiful, yet especially difficult to produce due to the compound curve of the saxophone bell. For many decades, leather pads and metal resonator discs on the larger key cups of a saxophone, have been standard.
